Thomas W. "Whit" Dulin, age 82, passed away Saturday evening, July 9, 2016, at Golden Living Center in Batesville, MS. Whit is the widower of the late Mary Frankie Wilson Dulin. The family of Mr. Dulin will be celebrating his life with a memorial service on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park of Batesville, MS. Whit was the second born of sixteen brothers and sisters on August 4, 1933 in Lafayette County, MS to the late Bill and Georgia Gant Dulin. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Whit was the longtime owner of Sardis Recreation Center in Sardis, MS for nearly 30 years before his retirement. His memory will live on through his daughter, Susan Dulin Graham of Sardis, MS; three sisters, Mary Jane Appleton of Batesville, MS, Elizabeth Parrish of Belzoni, MS, Ruth Ann Woodall of Senatobia, MS; five brothers, Wayne Dulin of Sardis, MS, David, Eddie Ray and Ike Dulin all of Batesville, MS, Don Dulin of Arkansas; grandson, Chris Smith; three great-grandchildren, Whit Smith, Lucy Smith and Laken Smith.
