Cynthia Ann Russell

Ms. Cynthia Russell, age 60, of Batesville, passed away this morning at Merit Health in Batesville, MS. Funeral services for Ms. Russell will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon prior to the service. Interment will follow at Longtown Cemetery in Crenshaw, MS. Reverend Dale Beaver will officiate the service. Cynthia was born July 8, 1955 in Quitman County, MS to the late Herbert Jones and Joyce Waychaster Jones. She was a nurse during her lifetime and enjoyed cross stitching, painting and drawing. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her children; Jennifer Long of Oakland, Bradley Bishop of Batesville, her long time companion; Gary Bishop of Batesville, her sister; Janie Jenkins of Marks, and 1 grandchild. In addition to her parents, Cynthia is preceded in death by one brother, Eddie Jones.
