William Thomas "Bill" Egbert, age 45, passed away at his home in Pope, MS.
Memorial service for Bill will be 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with inurnment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville, MS. Mr. Michael Bates will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home.
Bill was born March 1, 1971 in Batesville, MS to Deborah Gwen Guthrie and the late Larry Thomas Egbert. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville, MS. Bill was a welder by trade and had a love for the outdoors, where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mud-riding. He also had a passion for playing billiards and softball.
Bill's memory will be cherished by his family, which includes his fiance', Angela Durham of Senatobia, MS; son, William Tyler Egbert of Batesville, MS; mother, Deborah Gwen Guthrie of Batesville, MS; sister, Ashley Guthrie Roebuck of Batesville, MS, brother, Eric Samuel Guthrie of Hernando, MS; step-brother, Jeremy Gedding Guthrie of Greenville, S.C.; grandparents, Mary Evelyn Ledbetter of Batesville, MS and Sykes and Janie Wood of Grenada, MS.
