Ruby Dean Sullivant

Ruby Dean Sullivant, age 73, passed away June 7, 2016 at Sardis Nursing Home in Sardis, MS. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Independence Presbyterian Church with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Reverend Dr. Douglass Sullivan-Gonzalez will officiate the service. Interment will follow the service at Antioch Cemetery near Courtland, MS. Ruby was born February 10, 1943 in Panola County, MS to the late Tom Henry Richards and Lilly Ann Shepherd Richards. During her lifetime Ruby worked as a custodian for South Panola Schools for 30+ years and was a faithful member of Independence Presbyterian Church. Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Lee Hawkins, loving care giver and sister-in-law, Pat Sullivant, and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Sid Sullivant, brother, Carl Griffis, and 2 sisters, Christine Johnson Ware and Cliffe Mae Bright.
