Arley R. Whitsell

Arley R. Whitsell, age 77, passed away May 17, 2016 at North Delta Hospice in Southaven, MS. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 12 noon untill 2:00 at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. The visitation will be followed by a private family service for Mr. Whitsell. Interment will follow the service at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. Arley was born April 12, 1939 to the late William Bailey Whitsell and Edna Houston Whitsell in Sarah, MS. During his lifetime he was an accountant and the Deputy Director of Internal Audit for G.A.O. Arley enjoyed hunting, old cars, and loved watching old western movies. Those left behind to cherish his loving memory include his wife, Wanda Hendrix Whitsell of Batesville, MS, and his daughter, Wanda Whitsell Utley of Bealeton, VA., 2 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
