Joe F. Jones

Joe F. Jones, 81 years old, of Batesville, MS, formerly of Memphis, TN, passed away Tuesday evening, May 19, 2009, at Golden Living Nursing Home in Batesville, MS. He was born in Halls, TN on April 9, 1928. Joe was the widower of Dorothy Lee Huddleston Jones. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Dot Jones and son Don Jones. He is survived by his son, Bobby J. Jones of Las Vegas, Nevada; two granddaughters who he dearly loved; Tiffanie Crass of Olive Branch, MS and Adrianne Hann of Gulfport, MS; 5 Great Grandchildren and his brother: Raymond Jones of Harmontown, MS. Mr. Jones was retired from Exide Battery in Memphis, TN. Many will remember his kind and helpful ways. He will be missed by many! A Graveside service was held on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Batesville, MS. Reverend Kevin Crofford officiated the service.
