Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 15, 2009 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Magnolia Cemetery of Batesville, Ms. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon until service time. Mrs. Draper was born Friday, October 1, 1948 in Batesville, Ms. to Birl M. and Ruby Jones Bolen. Mary was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Batesville, Ms. She graduated from Crowder High School in 1966. Mary received her Accounting Degree from the University of Mississippi and went on to receive her Law Degree from the University of Mississippi also. Mary had her private law practice with Bailey and Draper Law Firm of Batesville, Ms. Mrs. Draper was very active in the community, having been a member of the Rotary Club, and past president of The Garden Club to name a few. She was also a member of the Mississippi Bar Association. Mary is survived by her husband, Roderick V. Draper of Batesville, Ms.; two step-daughters, Grace Draper Toulou of Ft. Worth, Tx. and Elizabeth Draper Guerrero, also of Ft. Worth, Tx.; mother, Ruby Jones Bolen; four sisters, Carolyn Bolen Toliver, Margaret Bolen Darby, Helen Bolen Stroup all of Batesville, Ms. and Linda Bolen Respess of Crowder, Ms.; one brother, Kenny Bolen of Batesville, Ms.; two grandchildren, Malena Toulou and Caleb Guerrero. She was preceded in death by her father, Birl M. Bolen and her son, Brian Keith Faulkner.
