Ruby Lee Koonce Sprabery, age 85, passed away April 12, 2016, at her home in Batesville, MS. She is the wife of Edward Lamar Sprabery. Funeral services for Mrs. Sprabery will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be held at Bradford Chapel Cemetery in Cadaretta, MS at 3:30. Reverend David Hodges will officiate the service. Ruby was born July 18, 1930 to the late John McNulty and Nellie Rose Koonce in Bruce, MS. During her life time she worked for Panola Mills and enjoyed sewing, planting flowers, taking care of her yard, decorating the house, and eating out. Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband; Edward Lamar Sprabery of Batesville, MS, 2 Daughters; Vicki Lynn Sprabery Fuoco (Richard) of Batesville, MS, Rebecca Jo Sprabery Moore (Scotty) of Water Valley, MS, 2 Sons; Dennis Sprabery of Olive Branch, MS and Eddie Lee Huffman (Elaine) of Atlanta, GA, brother; James Ray Koonce (Lamerle Jeter)of Sardis, MS, Ten Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her son; James Sharon Sprabery and 4 Sisters; Mary James, Dorothy Hincy, Eva Mae Spicer, and Joni Sue Rusche.
