Visitation will be on Tuesday evening at Wells Funeral Home from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Batesville, MS. Bob was born to Johnnie William & Leslie Loraine McMinn Cosby on November 1, 1933 in Panola County, MS. Bob was the owner of Robert L. Cosby Trucking Company of Courtland, MS. He was also a United States Navy veteran. Mr. Cosby was a member of Eureka United Methodist Church in Courtland, MS. He is survived by his wife: Ann M. Heafner Cosby of Courtland, MS; 1 daughter: Carrie Ann Cosby Davis & husband Dean of Batesville, MS; 3 Sons: Robert L. Cosby, Jr. & wife, Sheila; Michael Lynn Cosby & wife Ann; and Kevin Lee Cosby & wife Pam, all of Courtland, MS., 2 Brothers: J.W. "Bill" Cosby, Jr. and Charles Cosby of Courtland, MS; 8 Grandchildren & 6 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by: 1 Sister: Clara Leslie Cosby Mills  & 2 brothers: Avery Cosby and Joe Cosby
