Marilyn Bland Spencer

Marilyn Bland Spencer, age 39, passed away in Coldwater MS, March 15, 2016. Funeral services for Marilyn will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2016 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 noon prior to the service. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Charleston, MS. Reverend Alvin Whitehead will officiate the service. Marilyn was born July 4, 1976 in Leland, MS to Sarah Alice Sullivan and the late James Allen Bland. Marilyn was the office manager for Dover Trucking Co., in Sardis, MS. In her spare time she enjoyed watching movies and spending time with her children. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her two children, Sabrina Paige Spencer and Lonnie Allen Wayne Spencer both of Coldwater, two brothers; James Bland, Jr. of Oakland MS, and Billy Ray Bland, Sr. of Enid, MS, and her mother, Sarah Alice Sullivan of Coldwater, MS.
