Eddie Calvin Taylor

Mr. Eddie Calvin Taylor, age 64, passed away Thursday. February 18, 2016, at his home in Tillatoba, MS. Eddie is the husband of Faye Bradley Taylor. Funeral services for Mr. Taylor will be held Sunday, February 21, 2016 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 prior to the service. Interment will follow at Longtown Cemetery. Mr. Hal Johnson will officiate the service. Mr. Taylor was born March 14, 1951 to the late Calvin Lincoln Taylor and Dorothy May Bell Jones Taylor in Lambert, MS. He was a carpenter by trade and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed many activities during his lifetime but his favorites were hunting, fishing, and cooking. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Faye Bradley Taylor of Tillatoba, MS, children; Bonnie Hoop of Tillatoba, Larry Taylor of Sardis, Randy Bradley of Batesville, Mark Welch of Pontotoc, and Bobby Wayne Alred of Tillatoba, sister; Annie Ruth Putman of Sardis, and brother, Ricky Taylor of Water Valley.
