Ethan Scott Bright, age 25, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 in Memphis, TN. Ethan is the husband of Beth Mann Bright of Grenada, MS.
Funeral services for Ethan will be held on Tuesday morning, February 09, 2016, at 11:00 AM in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow the service at Good Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening, February 08, 2016, from 5:00-8:00. Reverend Brian Robertson will officiate the services.
Ethan was born to Kenneth and Joan Winnett Bright on January 04, 1991, in Oxford, Mississippi. He was a graduate of South Panola High School, Class of 2009. Upon graduation he went on to play baseball for Northwest Mississippi Community College, as well as Hinds Community College and Jackson State University where he graduated in 2014. Ethan was a lover of people and valued his relationships which led him to become a 3rd-6th grade P.E. teacher for Senatobia Schools as well as the Assistant High School Softball Coach. This past year he worked in construction. During his spare time, Ethan enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Grenada, MS.
Those left behind to carry on Ethan's loving memory include his wife Beth Mann Bright of Grenada, MS; one daughter Denley Elizabeth Bright of Grenada, MS; his parents Kenneth & Joan Bright of Batesville, MS; two sisters Emily Bright of Batesville, MS and Rachel Bright of Memphis, TN; two brothers Josh Bright (Sandra Lynn) of Batesville, MS and Shane Bright (Whit) of Nesbit, MS.
