Bobby L. "Skipper" Daugherty, II, age 39, passed away, January 26, 2016 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services for Skipper will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 noon prior to the service. Reverend Derrick Simmons will officiate the service. Skipper was born June 13, 1976 to Bobby L. Daugherty and Gail Glenn Daugherty in Batesville, MS. During his lifetime he was an auto body mechanic for Everett's Body Shop in Grenada, MS. Those left behind to cherish his precious memory include his wife, Valerie Stricklin Daugherty of Courtland, MS, two sons; Brady Lane Daugherty and Evan LuDurl Daugherty both of Courtland, MS, and his parents, Bobby and Gail Daugherty of Courtland, MS.
