Mary Ruth Cutberth

Mrs. Mary Ruth Chunn Cutberth, age 86, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, January 17, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi in Oxford. Mary was born on December 04, 1929 to the late Lonnie and Lena Smith Chunn in Ripley, Mississippi. She moved to Memphis,TN in the early 1950's. It was there she married Jim and lived for more than 50 years raising two beautiful daughters. She retired to Sardis, MS where she has lived the past 20 years. Mary leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years Jim of Sardis, MS; two daughters Linda Stolting (Ken) of Mt. Juliet TN, Melissa Drum (Doug) of Bartlett, TN; two sisters Wynette Simmons of Drummonds, TN, Margie Lockhart of Sebastion, FL; two brothers Boyce Chunn of Byhalia, MS, Charles Chunn of Lucy, TN; and four grandchildren Heather, Joel, Justin and Callie Ruth. Besides her parents Ms. Cutberth was preceded in death by one sister Aline Cutberth; one brother Randall Chunn Mary was of Baptist faith. A memorial for Ms. Cutberth will be on Tuesday morning, January 19, 2016 at 11:30 AM in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. They family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM prior to the service. Mr.Dave Tribble will be officiating.
