Gerry Terry

Mr. Gerry Terry passed away the evening of January 15, 2016 at his home in Sardis, Mississippi. Funeral services for Mr. Terry will be held in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home on Monday January 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow after at Crowder Cemetery. Brother Roger Howell will officiate the services. The Terry family will gather to receive family and friends on Sunday evening, January 17, 2016, from 5:00-8:00 PM. Gerry was born to the late Frances Gordon and Austin Augustus Terry in Memphis, Tennessee on October 5, 1959. He was a millwright by trade and worked for 29 years for the Crown, Cork and Seal Company in Batesville, Mississippi. Mr. Terry was a member of Adonai Church, and in his past time enjoyed riding motorcycles and horses. He was the Vice President of the Batesville Christian Motorcycle Association. Those who are left behind to cherish Mr. Terry's blessed memory include his four daughters, Jessica Bailey of Marks, MS, Crystal Steadham of Richland, MS, Jessica Davis of Sardis, MS, Bridgette McMillan of Water Valley, MS; one son, William Love of Batesville, MS; one sister, Brenda Frederick of Pope, MS; one brother, Charles Terry of Water Valley, MS; thirteen grandchildren.
