William David Moore

Mr. William David "Dub" Moore, age 75, of Courtland, Mississippi passed away on January 15, 2016 at his home. William is the husband of Betty Moore. Funeral services for Mr. Moore will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Willow Springs Assembly of God in Enid, MS. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Enid. Reverend Tommy Darby will officiate the service. William was born June 7, 1940 to the late Thomas Earlie Moore and Lesli Pettit Moore in Quitman County, MS. During his lifetime he was an electrician by trade. He was an avid outdoorsman and always enjoyed hunting and fishing. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Betty Jane Bonner Moore, 2 daughters, Debbie Ann Moore Darby and Emily Lou Moore Patti, 2 brothers, H.L. Moore, and Earlie Gene "Fat" Moore both of Batesville, 6 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
