Video Memorial TributeDawne Renee Robertson Hebert, age 47, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her residence on Friday, January 1, 2016. She was a resident of Port Allen, LA and a native of Batesville, MS. Visitation will be at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Batesville, MS conducted by Dr. David A. Ball & Dr. Robert Self. Interment will follow at Forrest Memorial Park. She is survived by her husband of eight years, Brandon Paul Hebert; Parents: Roy Earl & Mary Pearl Robertson; one Daughter: Leighton Elizabeth Stagg; two step-sons: Toby James & Brant Paul Hebert; one brother: Johnny Bowen Robertson; one niece and nephew; two great-nieces & one great nephew. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Dee Bowen & Floye Wilson & Shuford & Marjorie Baker; paternal grandparents: John & Catherine Robertson. Dawne graduated from South Panola High School & University of Mississippi “Ole Miss”. Her working career spanned over several years starting with working at the family business “Panco Electronics and Appliances” in Batesville, MS. She went on to be a pharmaceutical sales representative for Wyeth and Jansen Pharmaceuticals. She also was a teacher at Holy Family Preschool. Dawne fought a courageous battle with colon cancer for over two years. She will be remembered for her gracious personality and her outpouring of love for everyone she met. The family would like to thank Dr. Derrick W. Spell & Dr. Mary Raven & the entire medical staff at Mary Bird Perkins and the doctors and nurses with Hospice of Baton Rouge.
