Video Memorial Tribute Thoughtfully Produced By: Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services Ruby Mae Allen Goforth, age 87, died Thursday afternoon 4/9/09 at Tri-Lakes Medical Center Batesville, MS. She was the widow of Horace Leland Goforth. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Sardis Lake Baptist Church at Noon. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Reverend Kevin Crofford will officiate the service. Interment will be in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Goforth was a retired waitress and hairdresser. She was a member of Sardis Lake Baptist Church. Mrs. Ruby was born in East Prairie, Missouri on June 5, 1921 to John Leonard & Mattee Mae Shelby Allen. She is survived by her son: James Allen Edwards of Belton, Texas; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
