Ms. Geneva Lee Boyette, age 80, passed away December 22, 2015 at her home in Pope, MS. She is the widow of Jimmy Boyette.
Funeral services for Ms. Boyette will be held Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. Interment will follow the service at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Rev. Glen Washington, and Rev. Calvin King will officiate the service.
Geneva was born October 25, 1935 to the late Robert Mosby Lee and Leola Parrish Lee. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Faith.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include 3 daughters, Deborah B. Patton (Leon) of Oakland, MS, Rita B. Locke (Larry) of Oakland, MS, Jimmie Faye Boyette of Pope, MS, 4 sons, Randy Wayne Boyette of Crowder, MS, Scotty Newton Boyette (Zenda) of Oakland, MS, Ronald Ray Boyette of Tunica, MS, Donald Clay Boyette (Kim) of Tunica, MS, 2 sisters, Ola Mae Washington of Pontotoc, MS and Ophelia King of Oakland, MS, 31 Grandchildren and 32 Great Grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Geneva is preceded in death by 1 son, Jimmy Dale Boyette, 1 sister, Gladys Olene Irvin, and 4 brothers, Robert Mosby Lee, Jr., Buddy Lee, Edward Issac Lee and John Wayne Lee.
