John Robert Throgmorton

John Robert Throgmorton, age 38, passed away, December 21, 2015 at his home in Pope, MS. Funeral services for John will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope, MS. Rev. Derrick Simmons will officiate the service. Born August 21, 1977 to Patricia M. Pickett and the late Walter Throgmorton in Memphis, TN. During his lifetime, John loved music, sports, and golf. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his mother Patricia M. Picket of Pope, sister, Ashley Brooke Throgmorton, aunt, Ruth T. Raines of Nashville, TN, uncle, John Moore of Memphis, TN, cousin, Catherine Moore of Memphis, TN.
