Robert Gene "Bob" Frazer, age 76, passes away Tuesday morning, December 15, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS. The family would like to invite both family and friends for a memorial gathering Saturday afternoon from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. at the Frazer home located at 110 Old Lake Cove, Batesville, MS. Bob was born July 23, 1939 in Eldorado, IL to the late Clarence Albert and Mary Elizabeth King Frazer. He was a retired newspaper editor for the Farm Press Publications for thirty-two years. The family resided in Clarksdale, MS for thirty-three years before relocating to Batesville, MS. Bob was of the Methodist faith and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Bob leaves behind his loving and caring wife of fifty-three years, Betty Jane Griffin Frazer of Batesville, MS; son, Edward Albert "Ed" Frazer and wife Lisa of Leland, MS; two sisters, Nancy Elizabeth Frazer of Nevada, Mary Claire Curran of West Palm Beach, FL; grandson, Nathan Edward Frazer, and his caregiver, Mae Bramlett of Sardis, MS. Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a brother, David King Frazer of Hammond, LA.
