Fay Henderson Hopper

Fay Hopper, age 71, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday, December 7, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS. Fay is the wife of Mr. Jerry Hopper of Pope, MS. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM at Liberty Hill Baptist Church on Thursday morning, December 10, 2015. Brother Derrick Simmons will officiate the services with interment at Chapel Hill Cemetery following the funeral. The Hopper family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, December 9, 2015, from 5:00-8:00 at Wells Funeral Home. Fay was born to Alvin and Tina Dye Henderson on June 26, 1944, in Greenwood, MS. She was a Department Manager for Walmart in Batesville for 20 years and a faithful member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Those left behind to cherish her loving memory include her husband, Jerry Hopper of Pope, MS; four children, Eric Wayne Hopper (Sherry) of Strayhorn, MS, Scott Hopper (Tanya) of Batesville, MS, Greg Hopper (Rhonda) also of Batesville, and Tina Anthony (Allen) of Hernando, MS; sister, Laviel Saldivar; two brothers, Gene Henderson of Brandon, MS and Bill Henderson, of Branson, MO; twelve Grandchildren, Ashlee Bontrager, Audree Hopper Elfers, Cody Edlin, Colton Edlin, Shane Edlin, Walt and Emily Hopper, Erin Hopper Womble, Daniel, Zach and Zane Hopper, Meredith Anthony, three Great Grandchildren, Patrick Hopper, Rianne and Lincoln Elfers.
