Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 2:00 O’Clock P.M. at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, Ms. The family of Mrs. Keen will receive friends at 12:00 noon Saturday until service time. Mrs. Keen was retired from Fed-Ex in Memphis, Tn. after 22 years. Rita Faye was born January 31, 1951 in Sardis, Ms. to the late William Ottie Rushing and Polly Ann Crawford Rushing Green. She is survived by her husband Robert H. “Butch” Keen of Batesville, Ms.; step-father, Henry L. Green of Pope, Ms.; 4 step-daughters, Dee Dee Box of Batesville, Ms., Angie McIver of Batesville, Ms., Christy Jones of Batesville, Ms., Holly Keen of Tunica, Ms.; 6 step-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Betty Burt of Senatobia, Ms., Debra Green of Pope, Ms.; 2 aunts, Peggy Woolfolk and Sue Woodard; uncle, Dick Crawford; 2 nieces, Ginny Pirtle and Jamie McFarlin, both of Senatobia, Ms.; mother-in-law, Martha Keen; 1 great-niece, 4 great-nephews and 3 aunts; Mildred Carlisle of Jackson, Ms, Virgle Stone of Elpaso, Tx and Shirley Key of Coldwater, Ms. She was preceded in death by her father, William Ottie “Pete” Rushing; mother, Polly Ann Crawford Rushing Green, and her brother Durl Green.
