Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday 3/31/09 at Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Doug Pepper officiating. Interment will follow in Longtown Cemetery in Crenshaw, Ms. with full military honors. Kenny was born July 26, 1971 in Beaumont, Tx. to William Burl and Mary Crawford Reid. Kenny served 20 years in the U.S. Navy with the rank of E-6 Petty Officer. He served three tours of service in Iraq, Afghanistan and Bosnia and 7 months of Sea Duty. Kenny was named "Shore Sailor of the Year 2006 & 2007". He leaves his wife Machelle Maxey Reid of Norfolk, Va.; two Daughters: Haley Machelle Reid and Hannah Terri Reid, Norfolk, Va.; Son: Bradley Leon Reid, Norfolk, Va.; Parents: Mother, Mary Crawford Reid Anderson of Mt. Olive, Ms.; Father: William Burl Reid and Step-mother Jackie of Batesville, Ms.; Sister- Teresa Lynn Reid Trimm- Mt. Olive, Ms.; Brother- William Troy Reid- Denmark, Ms.. Visitation will be Monday evening 3/30/09 from 5-8 pm at Wells Funeral Home.
