Visitation will be Wednesday, 3/18/09 at Wells Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, 3/19/09 at Magnolia Cemetery, in Batesville, MS. She was born in Lafayette County, MS on July 18, 1937 to Edgar Ernest & Effie Buchanan Russell. Mrs. Sutton was a member of Pope Baptist Church and she was a homemker. She was the widow of Joseph F. Sutton. Her survivors include: 2 Daughters: Lisa Sutton Cox and her husband David of Chandler, TX, Leigh Ann Sutton Benson and her husband, Bubba of Pope, MS; 1 Sister: Ethel Russell French of Memphis, TN; 4 Brothers: Harry Russell, Gladden Russell and Billy Russell all of Batesville, MS, and Joe Mac Russell of Biloxi, MS; 3 Grandchildren: Nichole Cobb, Tyler Benson & Jodi Cox; 1 Great Granddaughter: Kaleigh Cobb.
