Shirley M. Wells

Ms. Shirley Morris Wells, age 79, passed away on Sunday morning, November 8, 2015, at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Ms. Wells is the widow of the late Richard Lee Wells of Senatobia, MS. Memorial services for Ms. Shirley will be held at the Senatobia Church of Christ on Friday, November 13, 2015; at 2:00 PM. Mr. Phillip Mote will be presiding. Shirley was born to the late Howard and Bernice Morris on March 26, 1936 in Sardis, Mississippi. She retired from Chrom-Craft and was a longtime member of Tyro Baptist Church in Senatobia, Mississippi. Those left behind to cherish Ms. Well’s sweet memory include her daughter, Debra Mabry of Senatobia, MS; son, Richard Curtis Frank of Sardis, MS; 3 step-daughters Linda, Susan and Sandy; one sister, Joyce Thaggard of Laurel, MS; three brothers, James, Gerald and Kelly Morris all of Batesville, MS; twelve grandchildren and thirty-four great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by one son, Larry Russel Frank and one brother, Raford Morris. In lieu of flowers, the Wells family ask that memorial donations be made in Shirley’s honor to: Tyro Baptist Church, 6976 Looxahoma-Tyro Road, Senatobia, MS 38668.
