Kathryn Sullivant

Kathryn "Kathy" Brown Sullivant, age 75, passed away October 26, 2015, at Methodist Hospice in Memphis, TN. Funeral services for Kathy will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 10:00. Interment will follow the service at the Brown Family Cemetery in Pope, MS. Kathy was born February 20, 1940 to the late Taylor Milton Brown and Elizabeth Shaw Brown in Pope, MS. She held a Masters Degree in Psychology and was the Sr. V.P. over Human Resources for Methodist Healthcare. Kathy was an avid reader, enjoyed sports, dance, and flower gardening. She was a member of Pope Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Steve Sullivant of Murfreesboro, TN, and one granddaughter Mary Kathryn Sullivant also of Murfreesboro, TN, 3 sisters; Billie Brown Capwell of Pope, MS, Tootsie Brown of Marion, AR. and Wanda Brown Griffin of Memphis, TN, 4 brothers; Tommy Brown and Bobby Brown both of Memphis, TN, Jimmy Brown and Ricky Brown both of Pope, MS. In addition to her parents, Kathy is preceded in death by 2 sisters; Judy Brown Knighton, and Carol Brown Crisler.
