William "Bill" Claude Gray

William "Bill" Claude Gray, age 62, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, AL. Funeral services for Bill will be held Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends at 1:00 prior to the service. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis, MS. Mr. Michael Bates will officiate the service.  Bill was born February 28, 1953 to the late Claude Freeman Gray and Ruby Johnson Gray in Memphis, TN. During his life time he was a Finance Manager in the automobile industry. He was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church. Bill enjoyed many things in life, some of those included boating, Ole Miss sports and Nascar. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his sister, Claudia Gray Burkes (Bob) of Batesville MS, his step son Keith Dixon (Amy) of Guntown, MS, niece Lindsay Burkes of Batesville MS,  and nephew Lance Burkes (Kellen) of Batesville MS.  In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by one son, William Tyler Gray.
