Lyda Jo Brewer Vick

Lyda Jo Brewer Vick, age 84, passed away early Saturday morning, September 26, 2015 at Oxford Health and Rehabilitation in Oxford, MS. Ms. Vick is the widow of the late Arthur "Jack" Vick. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 29, 2015 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 12:00 noon until service time. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Lyda Jo was born May 17, 1931 in Panola County, MS to the late Walter and Mary Lakey Brewer. She was a retired factory worker and a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Lyda is survived by her daughter, Jackie Vick Hudson of Batesville, MS; son, Arthur "Bubba" Vick of Memphis, TN; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family of Ms. Vick asked that, in lieu of flowers, to please send memorial contributions to a charity of your choice.
