Marcia Ware Daugherty

Marcia Ware Daugherty, age 77, passed away September 8, 2015 at her home in Batesville, MS. Funeral services for Mrs. Daugherty will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2015 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 1:00. Interment will follow the service at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS. Marcia was born March 23, 1938 to the late Joe T. Ware and Nona Bell Shankle Ware in Tallahatchie County, MS. She retired after many years with Panola Mills and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Batesville MS. Survivors include her son, Bobby Daugherty (Gale) of Courtland, MS, 2 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Marcia is preceded in death by her husband, David L. Daugherty and one son, David Wayne Daugherty.
