"Becky" Johnson, age 71, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, Ms. Becky was the widow of Darel Carlton Johnson. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Union Cemetery in Sardis, Ms. Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Reverend Charles Locke and Reverend Marvin Chism will be officiating. Mrs. Johnson was a nurse and private homecare sitter, and was also a member of Union Baptist Church in Sardis, Ms. Becky was born July 7, 1937 in Maine to the late George and Ida Michaud Lorette. She is survived by 2 daughters, Verna Johnson Brockman of Foley, Al., Vanessa Johnson Aaron of Courtland, Ms.; 2 sons, Bruce Johnson of Abrams, Wi., Jimmy Johnson of Batesville, Ms.; 2 sisters, Theresa L. Richardson of Windsor, Ma., Ella L. Carrasco of Oceanside, Ca.; 2 brothers, Percy Lorette of East Oakland, Ma., Gordon Lorette of Amherest, N.Y., and 10 Grandchildren & 10 Great-Grandchildren.
