Clinton H. Swindle

Clinton H. Swindle, age 88, passed away Wednesday morning, August 19, 2015, at his home near Houston, MS. Mr. Swindle is the husband of Maggie Swindle. Funeral services for Mr. Swindle will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, August 21, 2015 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. Clinton was born June 30, 1927 to the late Thomas Edward Swindle and Janie Roberson Swindle in Chickasaw County MS. During his life time he was a truck driver, owing several trucks and leasing them to various Companies. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his wife, Maggie Turner Swindle of Woodland, MS, 4 sisters, Doris Leonard of Bruce, MS, Ann Jones of Horn Lake, MS, Irene Howe of Loxahoma, MS. Myrene Bentley of Valparaiso, IN. In addition to his parents, Clinton is preceded in death by one brother Edward Swindle and one sister Mildred Bradley.
