Ola Mae Harper

Mrs. Ola Mae Smith Harper, age 84, passed away early this morning, August 11, 2015 at Golden Living Nursing Hone in Batesville, MS. She is the widow of Winfred H. Harper. Funeral services for Mrs. Harper will be held Friday August 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Peach Creek Cemetery in Sardis, MS. Ola Mae was born June 23, 1931 to the late James Joesph Smith and Annie Mae McCarver Smith. During her lifetime she was a homemaker and owned a grocery and furniture store with her late husband Wilfred in Darling, MS. Mrs. Harper is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rickey Lynn and Barbara Harper of Driscoll, TN, daughter-in-law Rhonda Harper Bryant of Batesville, sister Daisy Gaines of IL and brother Sonny Smith of Batesville MS, 4 grandchildren, Melisa Harper, Maggie Cote, Jeremiah Harper, and Cobly Harper, and 13 great grandchildren.
