Kenneth Oliver

Mr. Kenneth Oliver, age 70, passed away Thursday afternoon, August 06, 2015, at his home in near Batesville, Mississippi. Kenneth is the husband of the late Luna Louise Oliver of Batesville, Mississippi. Funeral services for Mr. Oliver will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2015 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville MS. The family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Forrest Memorial Park. Kenneth was born April 11, 1945 to the late Roy M. Oliver and Earnestine Brazzer Oliver in Clarksdale, MS. He served his country in the Air Force where he was an Airman First Class. Kenneth became a Master Mason in 1968 at Covington Lodge LA and transferred to Panola Lodge 66 in 2002. He was a member of The Batesville Shrine Club and First Faith Baptist Church. Kenneth retired after 17 years with Panola County where he was the County Appraiser. Survivors include his daughter, Mary Oliver Belvin of Batesville, one Grandson, Brice Belvin of Batesville, MS, and one Great-Grandson, Rowen Hoyt Belvin of Batesville, MS. In addition to his parents and wife Luna, Kenneth is preceded in death by three brothers Milton Oliver, Wayne Oliver, and Sammy Oliver.
