Lynda Boykin Irwin

Lynda Boykin Irwin, age 75, passed away, along with her husband, Ret. Major William H. "Buddy" Irwin, Sr., Tuesday afternoon, July 21, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- DeSoto in Southaven, Mississippi following an auto accident in Panola County, MS. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 26, 2015, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Born August 1, 1939 in Clarksdale, MS to the late James and Mabel O'Keefe Boykin, she was a retired Registered Nurse who cared for many families in Panola County and surrounding areas under hospice care. Lynda was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Sardis, MS. Lynda is survived by her three daughters, Brenna Dawn Irwin Choate of Arlington, TX, Beverly Carrie Irwin of Batesville, MS, Alisa Babette Irwin Maxwell of Maypearl, TX; six grandchildren, MAtthew Choate, Sara Choate, Jason Irwin, Colton Irwin, Cole Maxwell, Cooper Maxwell; two great-grandchildren, Aliza Dawn Thomas and Allie May Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. "Buddy" Irwin, Sr., who was also involved in the auto accident. Lynda was also preceded by her son William H. "Buddy" Irwin, Jr.
