Jerome Minyard

Jerome Minyard, age 79, passed away early Saturday morning at Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville, MS. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 20, 2015 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with family receiving friends beginning at 11:00 A.M. The committal service will follow at 4:00 P.M. in Enon United Methodist Church Cemetery near Carrollton, MS. Jerome was born September 1, 1935 in Carrollton, MS to the late Rufus Charlie and Vallie Pinkston Minyard. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville, MS, and Jerome retired after 43 years as a plant foreman for Trinity Industries based in Asheville, NC where they produced rail cars. Jerome honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Jerome is survived by his wife, Burcene Browning Minyard of Pope, MS; two sisters, Gloria Minyard Browning of Grenada, MS, Christine Minyard Gilbert of Paris, TN; one brother, Randy Michael Minyard of Crown Point, IN.
