Julia Frances Crafton Williamson, age 71, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015, at her home in Batesville, MS. Mrs. Williamson is the wife of Harry Williamson. The family will have a Service of Remembrance 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 15, 2015 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with inurnment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Williamson was born February 22, 1944 in Marks, MS to the late Jesse and Mary Frances Simms Crafton. She retired as an Administrative Assistant for Thompson Formby Company in Memphis, TN after 20 years of service, and was a member of Fairhaven Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS. She had a love for the outdoors, which included camping, water skiing and fishing. After being a loving and caring wife, Mrs. Williamson took pride in raising her children and loving her grandchildren. Besides her husband, those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Sherry Williamson Crowley of Denver, CO; sister, Mildred Crafton Parker of Sardis, MS; brother, Wesley Crafton of Elizabeth, LA; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Kevin Williamson; four sisters, Faye Black, Thelma McCullum, Helen Odom, Betty Jean Sellers; two brothers, Walter Crafton and Lloyd Crafton.
