Hall, age 76, passed away Friday evening, January 30, 2009 at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis, Tn. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday 2/3/09 at the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church with the Reverend Doug Pepper officiating. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday evening 2/2/09 from 5-8 pm. Don was born February 20, 1932 in New Orleans, La. to William S. and Elma Charlton Hall. Don was retired from the Memphis Fire Department and former chief and active member of the Mt. Olivet Fire Department. Don served with the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was a member of the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church and served as lay leader, sunday school teacher and a member of the mission board. Don leaves his wife: Martha Childs Hall- Batesville, Ms. 3 Daughters: Kathy M. (Mark) Barber- Pensacola, Fl., Lisa M. (Gary) Hartman- Batesville, Ms. Rene' DeYoung- Olive Branch, Ms.; 1 son Don (Donna)Hall, Jr. of Olive Branch, Ms.; Nephew: Ray Hall- Hernando, Ms..
