Mrs. Mary Alfreda Still, 86, widower of Jadie Still, Jr. of Sardis, MS., passed away today, Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Friday, January 30, 2009 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Sardis, MS. Interment in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Sardis, MS. Reverend Randy Owen will officiate. Mrs. Still was Born to the late John Jefferson Appelton & Cora Estus Gillispie Appleton on July 30, 1922 in Panola County, MS. She was a retired Clerk for Riteway Cleaners. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by one Daughter: Susan Still King of Como, MS; one Son: Butch Still of Sardis, MS; 4 grandchildren: John Still, Amy Still Brown, Shannon Hatton and C.J. King and 6 Great Grandchildren: Tripp Still, Alexis Leigh Still, Chris Brown, Evan Brown, Lee Hatton and Mary Elizabeth Hatton. Visitation will be 5-8 P.M. Thursday at Wells Funeral Home.
