Ora Estelle Jones

Mrs. Jones passed away on Wednesday Morning, January 14, 2009 at Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville, MS. She was 83 years old. Visitation and a funeral service will both be held on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Jones was born to Jim and Alida Potts Prestage in Water Valley, MS on April 22, 1925. She was a homemaker who was a lifetime member of Goodwill Church of God. Mrs. Ora is survived by her daughter, Barbara and husband, Jim Phillips of Jacksonville, NC; three sons, Vernon and wife, Sandra Jones of Oxford, MS; Tony and wife Cindy Jones of Batesville, MS; and Glenn Jones of Marks, MS; A sister, Elsie Pettit of Fresno, CA; and one brother, Charles Prestage of Senatobia, MS; 8 Grandchildren and 15 Great- Grandchildren.
