John Patrick Perry

John Patrick Perry, age 52, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford MS early this morning, May 29, 2015. John is the husband of Betty Perry of Sardis. A memorial service for Mr. Perry will be held at 3:00 Sunday, May 31, 2015 at First Faith Baptist Church in Batesville, MS. John was born March 2, 1963 to the late Norman Perry Sr. and Dorothy Woodard Perry in Batesville, MS. During his lifetime he worked as a painter and carpenter. He was a Mason and Shriner and member of First Faith Baptist Church. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife Betty Darby Perry of Sardis; daughter Leslie Carol Perry and son Patrick Loren Perry, both of Sardis; one grandson, Patrick Hopper of Sardis; sister, Addie Marie Smith of Batesville; four brothers, Norman Perry Jr., Joseph Perry and Clarence Sluder all of Batesville and Henry Sluder of Cape Coral FL.
