John Clinton Prince

John Clinton Prince, age 75, passed away Sunday evening, May 24, 2015 at his home near Batesville, MS. John is the husband of Patricia Jean Crouch Prince. Funeral service for Mr. Prince will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends at 12:00 noon prior to the service. Interment will follow at Pisgah Cemetery in Batesville. Father Sam Messina will officiate the service. John was born July 31, 1939 to the late Lemiual Prince and Pauline Karr Prince in Lafayette County, MS. During his lifetime he worked in the construction industry as a contractor. He was a member of the Orwood Presbyterian Church. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Patricia Jean Crouch Prince of Batesville, MS, one daughter, Susan Cook of Batesville, MS, one sister, Sue Carwyle of Oxford, MS, six Grandchildren and six Great-Grandchildren. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by two daughters, Regina Gail Prince Jones and Rene Haire.
