Betty Ware Guest

Ms. Betty Jean Ware Guest, age 84, passed away today, May 18, 2015 at Baptist Trinity Hospice in Memphis, TN. She is the widow of William Sherrell Guest. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 at Wells. Interment will follow the service at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville MS. Betty was born January 25, 1931 to the late Jacob Lawrence Ware and Sabie Pinkston Ware in Carroll County, MS. During her life time she was the V.P. of Jack Morris Auto Glass for 45 years in Memphis, TN and a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. She enjoyed and was very faithful to her career and grandchildren. Survivors included one brother, Tony Ware of Batesville, MS, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 children, Cheryl "Cherry" Guest Ball and William "Stan" Stanley Guest.
