William Sherrell Guest

Mr. William Sherrell Guest, age 85, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at Kirby Pines in Memphis Tn. Funeral services for Mr. Guest will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville MS. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 at Wells. Interment will follow the service at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. Sherrell was born February 24, 1930 to the late Stanley Guest and Julia Pritchard Guest in Yalobusha County, MS. He was the Plant Manager for Unarco in Memphis, TN and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in the shop. Survivors include 2 sisters, Barbara Agee (Billy) of Southaven, MS and Janie Boswell (Bob) of Cordova, TN, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 children, Cheryl "Cherry" Guest Ball and William "Stan" Stanley Guest.
