Peggy Joyce Purdon Parrish

Peggy Joyce Purdon Parrish, age 86, passed away Friday morning, May 8, 2015 at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, MS. Mrs. Parrish is the widow of the late William Leo Parrish of Crenshaw, MS. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 11, 2015 at Crenshaw Baptist Church with interment to follow in Longtown Cemetery near Crenshaw, MS. Visitation for Mrs. Parrish will begin two hours prior to the funeral service at Crenshaw Baptist Church. Peggy was born March 29, 1929 in Ecru, MS to the late Albert and Luna Mae Douglas Purdon. She was a homemaker and member of the Crenshaw Baptist Church. Ms. Parrish is survived by her two daughters, Jeaninne Hall of Crenshaw, MS and Sandra Cambra of Senatobia, MS; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Other than her husband and parents, Ms. Parrish was preceded in death by one son, William Leo "Butch" Parrish, Jr.
