Virginia "Sis" Tucker, age 78, passed away Friday morning, April 24, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 27, 2015 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, April 26, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M.. The Reverend Shane Crawford will be officiating the service. Sis was born March 10, 1937 in Hernando, MS to the late James Harry and Katherine Jane Woodard Craft. She was of the Baptist faith and cared for her family as a homemaker. Sis is survived by her daughter, Cindy Tucker Russell of Waleska, GA; 4 sons, Billy Tucker of Rockwell, N.C., Timmy Tucker of Water Valley, MS, Chuck Tuker of Batesville, MS, Jerry Tucker of Tupelo, MS; sister, Donna Tidwell of Batesville, MS; fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd "Doll" Tucker and two great-grandchildren, Landon and Waylon Tucker.
