Video Memorial TributeJennifer Christine "Chris" Beall Cobb, age 43, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 23, 2015 at her home in Batesville, MS. The family will be having a private family committal service Sunday, April 26, 2015, with the family receiving friends afterwards at Wells Funeral Home from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. On Monday, April 27, 2015, the family will also receive friends 10:00 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church in Oxford, MS with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 A.M. The Reverend John Semmes will be officiating the services. Chris was born December 28, 1971 in Columbia, MS to Dudley and Harriet Beasley Beall. She was a graduate of South Panola High School and went on to receive her Masters Degree in Special Education from The University of Mississippi. Chris taught special education form several years in the Lafayette County School and South Panola School Districts. Following her teaching career, she took great pride in being the head of her household and especially caring for her father. Chris was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Oxford, MS Chris' loving memory will live on with her husband, Trey Cobb of Batesville, MS; parents, Dudley and Harriet Beasley Beall; mother and father-in-law, Clifford and Daphene Cobb of Lambert, MS; three nieces, Maddy Handy, Sadie Cobb, Charlotte Cobb; and one nephew, Jake Handy. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Beall, and one brother, Carlisle Beall. Memorial contributions in memory of Chris may be sent to one of the following, Camp Hopewell of Oxford, MS, Food Pantry of Oxford, MS or to the South Panola Educational Foundation
