Funeral services will be 2:oo P.M. Wednesday, January 7, 2008 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Forrest Memorial Park of Batesville, Ms. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday morning until 2:00 P.M. Mr. Qualls was born August 10, 1920 in Humbold, Tn. to the late Ernest A. and Mattie Sue Glover Qualls. Mr. Qualls was a member of the First Baptist Church of Batesville, Ms., and he Honorably served our country from 1942 to 1945 in the U.S. Air Force during WW II. After his service to his country, Arthur went on to work manufacturing kitchen appliances. Mr. Qualls is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Georgia Harlan Qualls of Lees Summit, Mo.; 3 daughters, Mary Ruth Qualls Pedzinski of Kansas City, Mo., Sandra Qualls Vernile McCarty of Atlanta, Ga., Donna Lynn Qualls Campbell of New Buffalo, Mi.; 4 sisters, Maxine Qualls Wilson of St. Louis, Mo., Carolyn Qualls Davis of Vicksburg, Ms., Ernestine Qualls Lowery of Montrose, Michigan, and Patsy Qualls Stalnaker of Harrisburg, Ar.; brother, Tom "Rooker" Qualls of Harrisburg, Ar. He also leaves behind 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
