Shirley Jean Franks Alred, age 60, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at her residence in Sardis, MS. Shirley is the wife of Harold Alred. Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Wells Funeral Home with the family receiving friends at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday morning. The Reverend Jimmy Hankins will be officiating the service and interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Shirley was born February 28, 1955 in Batesville, MS to the late Robert and Mildred Darby Franks. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Shirley is survived by her husband, Harold Alred of Sardis, MS; daughter, Tina Nolan of Southaven, MS; son, Harold Alred, Jr. of Sardis, MS; sister, Juanita Shelton of Sardis, MS; six grandchildren, Becky Winters, Joseph Alred, Britney Long, Kristen Alred Almazaraa, Shelly and Katie Alred; three great-grandchildren, Alyssa Winters, Madison Winters, and Connleigh Todd.
