Christopher Cameron Coker, age 27, of Batesville, MS, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at North MS Medical Center in Pontotoc, MS. He is the son of Chris and Tonya Coker of Batesville, MS.
Funeral services for Cameron will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville, MS with interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 at Calvary Baptist. Reverend Paul Middleton will officiate the service.
Cameron was born February 6, 1988 in Batesville, MS to Christopher Coker and Tonya Clark Coker. He graduated from South Panola High School and went on to become a dispatcher for the Panola County Sheriff's Department. He was also member of the Sardis Lake Volunteer Fire Department. His interest in life included hunting and fishing, volunteer fire fighting and helping with the South Panola Football Broadcast.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Chris and Tonya Coker of Batesville, MS, one brother; Chase Coker of Batesville, MS, Maternal Grandparents; Jerry and Dianne Clark of Batesville, MS, Maternal Grandmother; Sylvia Clark of Memphis, TN, Paternal Grandparents; Cecil and Linda White Coker of Batesville, MS, Paternal Grandparents; Joe and Wanda Daniels Hall of Toccopola, MS, one aunt; Susan Coker Holland of Batesville, MS and 2 uncles; Cecil Brian Coker of Batesville, MS and Trent Alan Hall of Toccopola, MS
